Parent-readable beta policy
Privacy should feel simple.
Cute Current is designed so a child can browse the shared feed without creating an account or telling us their name, email address, birthday, school, or location.
Who signs in
Optional sign-in is for a parent, guardian, or other adult managing a family shelf. We do not ask a child to use Google or an emailed sign-in link. The adult account can synchronize topic buttons, creator hearts, and exact approved-page shortcuts across devices.
What the family shelf stores
Cute Current stores an opaque account identifier and the shelf settings the adult chooses. It does not require a child’s name, email, age, photo, voice, contacts, or precise location. The identity service may receive the adult account information needed to authenticate the chosen provider.
What stays on a device
Before sign-in, shelf choices and collectible-card progress may be stored in the browser on that device. Clearing browser data can remove those local choices. Signed-in shelf settings can also be kept in Cute Current’s account database.
Links beyond Cute Current
Feed cards and family-approved shortcuts open other websites. Those destinations have their own content, cookies, recommendations, age rules, and privacy practices. A Cute Current source label explains why a link is present; it cannot control what happens after leaving the site.
Advertising and purchases
The current beta does not run targeted advertising, accept payments, or activate affiliate commissions. Any future advertising or commission link must be labeled and accompanied by an updated policy before activation.
Deletion and retention
A signed-in adult can delete the synchronized Cute Current shelf from Grown-up controls. Local device choices remain until removed in the interface or cleared from the browser. Authentication records held by an identity provider are governed by that provider and the adult’s provider account.
Public-launch contact
A customer-facing privacy contact and operator identity will be added before public access is enabled. Until then, Cute Current remains a private beta.
